Eastern Region Schools Acrobaics Competition

5th May 2019

After winning the Eastern Region Schools Acrobaics Competition several pupils form Henlow went through to represent the region and the school at the British Schools Acrobatics Finals.

On Sunday 5th May pupils travelled to Stoke  on Trent where they competed in two separate categories against winners from all other regions across the country.
The under 11 girls pair (Bella R and Piper L) performed their routine elegantly and the gracefulness of their music and style of routine really stood out. They narrowly missed third place by 0.01! Such a shame but 4th out of 12 regions in the country is still a fantastic achievement.
Later in the afternoon the girls performed again within a group 6 with the addition of Neve B, Bethan M, Ellie H and Caitlin C. Again they displayed a superb, high quality routine which resulted in them coming in 5th place. 0.01 behind 4th place and 0.06 behind third place!

The competition was extremely close and they all did an absolutely amazing job.

We are very proud of them all.
